The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated each year for adult Catholics (who have been baptized and have received First Communion) and for High School students.
CALLING ALL ADULTS WHO HAVE NOT BEEN CONFIRMED
For a variety of reasons, many Catholic adults have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Well, now is the time to consider doing so.
- For one to be a fully initiated member of our Catholic faith, one must have celebrated the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
- For one to be married in the Church, one must be Confirmed (or planning on being Confirmed) as soon as feasible.
And so, if you are a baptized Catholic, 19 years of age or older, and would like to be Confirmed here on Pentecost Sunday, May 20, at the 11am Mass, Msgr. John Urell at firstname.lastname@example.org or 249-4091.
We will begin classes on Easter Monday, April 2, 2018.
High School Students
The high school program is a two year process with the goal of fostering and developing the faith of the youth of St. Timothy Parish and to confirm them in the Spirit to be mature adults in the Catholic faith.
Please visit our Youth Ministry/Confirmation Preparation page for more information for high school students.
