The Confirmation preparation process takes place over two years consisting of Confirmation meetings, service opportunities, day & weekend retreats, and participation in youth ministry activities. The focus is on the teens developing a relationship with God and His Church, understanding their Catholic faith, and building a strong community with other high school teens. Teens meet on select Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm; schedules and specific requirements are included in the packets below.
Year 1 students will receive a Catholic Teen Bible, and will learn about the faith while travelling through the timeline of Scripture and salvation history. Year 2 students receive a YouCat (the Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church) and will focus on the teachings of the Church and how to live out their faith in the world as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Incoming Year 1 students (or Year 2 students transferring from another parish) will need to provide a copy of their Baptismal & first Eucharist certificates if they were not completed at St. Timothy’s . Please note that there are several forms in the packet and all forms must be completed for registration to be complete. If your teen hasn’t yet been baptized or received their First Reconciliation or First Communion, please contact Matt Zemanek to discuss how we can help them receive all their sacraments.
Tuition is $160.00 per year. If financial assistance is needed or you have any questions at all, please contact our Director of Adult and Youth Faith Formation, Matt Zemanek: firstname.lastname@example.org
(registration has ended for the 2018-2019 year)
