“For this reason, I urge you to stir into flame the gift of God

that you have through the imposition of my hands.

For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice,

but rather of power and love and self-control”

(2 Timothy 1:6-7)

Our theme will be used throughout the year as a reminder of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit here from the beginning of our parish in 1980, how the Holy Spirit has lived and lives now in our parish life, and how the Holy Spirit will direct us in the years to come.

A number of opportunities will be offered in the coming months for “stirring into flame” the virtues of faith, hope and love as we continue our journey to form loving disciples of Jesus Christ who make a difference. (Parish Mission Statement)

The final event of our 40th anniversary will be Mass celebrated by Bishop Vann on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 11am.   May the Lord bless this time of gratitude and new hopes for St. Timothy Parish!
