Pastor Change | Effective July 1, 2025

We graciously welcome Father Binh Nguyen to St. Timothy Parish as our incoming pastor! Join us to celebrate and welcome Fr. Binh after all Masses on July 12 and 13 in the Parish Hall and Courtyard.

About Fr. Binh

I was born in Saigon—now called Ho Chi Minh City—right before the Vietnam War ended. I have fond childhood memories of fishing, tending water buffalo, and enjoying nature growing up in the countryside. While still in elementary school I escaped from Communist Vietnam with two of my older siblings on a fishing boat in the darkness of night. I was a refugee in the Philippines for about a year and eventually immigrated to the United States with the sponsorship of other family members.

Through the example of my pious parents and with the inspiration and encouragement of many joyful and faithful priests, I discerned the vocation to the priesthood and was ordained a priest by Bishop Tod David Brown on June 9, 2001. My responsibilities, as pastor, are to teach the Catholic faith, to sanctify God’s people, and to govern or administrate the parish church entrusted to me by Bishop Kevin Vann. I look forward to getting to know the good people of St. Timothy Parish, getting the lay of the land, and getting to work with the capable and gracious staff of the parish.
